MANDATORY SAFETY
☕ KETTLE — MANDATORY RINSE
After descaling, rinse the kettle 3 times with fresh water before using for drinking. DescaleX uses food-safe acids, but residual descaler must be fully flushed before food contact.
🍽️ DISHWASHER — RINSE CYCLE
After descaling, run one plain rinse cycle (no detergent, no dishes) before loading dishes. This ensures zero residual contact with food surfaces.

BEFORE YOU BUY
Is DescaleX safe for food-contact appliances like kettles?
Yes — all three acids (citric, tartaric, malic) are food-grade with EU food additive codes E296, E334, E330. Mandatory step: rinse 3 times with fresh water after descaling.
How many sachets do I need for my washing machine?
One sachet (50g) for regular maintenance. For machines older than 5 years in 600+ TDS zones, use 2–3 sachets on the first deep clean, then 1 sachet monthly.
Can I use DescaleX in a coffee machine?
Yes, but follow your machine manufacturer's descaling procedure with DescaleX dissolved in the recommended water volume. Run 3 rinse cycles before making coffee.
What's the white fizzing I see?
That's the effervescent reaction — it's by design. The fizzing is a visual confirmation that the descaler is actively reacting with and dissolving calcium carbonate deposits.
How is this different from Bosch Quick Descaler?
DescaleX uses a triple-acid system (vs Bosch's dual), includes chelation agents for better iron removal, BTA for metal protection, and costs ₹66–99 per use vs ₹150–200 for Bosch.
Do I need it if I have a water softener?
Water softeners reduce but rarely eliminate scale completely, especially in 600+ TDS areas. Quarterly DescaleX use is recommended even with a softener for appliance longevity.
