APPLIANCE ROUTINES
Pick the appliance and follow that rinse-safe routine.
The appliance changes the contact time and rinse sequence. Open the one you need and follow it through fully.
ELECTRIC KETTLE
Electric Kettle
1 SACHET IN WARM WATER
Clears the white crust that slows boiling and leaves flakes behind.
- 1Fill the kettle with enough warm water to cover the scaled zone.
- 2Add one sachet and let it dissolve fully.
- 3Leave for 15 to 20 minutes, then run one short heat cycle if the appliance allows it.
- 4Empty, rinse thoroughly 2 to 3 times, and boil fresh water once before drinking.
FREQUENCY: Every 4 to 8 weeks in hard-water homes.
Bio is the right route for kettles because it stays food-grade and skips corrosion inhibitors.
BOTTLE WARMER
Bottle Warmer
1 SACHET PER DESCALE
Removes mineral film from the chamber without leaving a harsh post-rinse smell.
- 1Switch off the warmer and empty all standing water.
- 2Mix one sachet with warm water and fill the chamber to the scale line.
- 3Leave for 15 minutes, then drain completely.
- 4Rinse several times with clean water before the next heating cycle.
FREQUENCY: Monthly where TDS is 400+ ppm.
Always rinse fully before using with feeding accessories or drinking-water equipment.
TEA MAKER / DRIP FILTER
Tea Maker / Drip Filter
1 SACHET PER CYCLE
Helps restore flow and keeps mineral taste from building into repeated brew cycles.
- 1Empty the appliance and remove any used filter media.
- 2Add one sachet to the reservoir with warm water.
- 3Run the appliance through its descale or brew cycle without tea or coffee.
- 4Run 2 full rinse cycles with plain water before regular use.
FREQUENCY: Every 1 to 2 months depending on TDS and usage.
Use DescaleX instead if the machine has brass-heavy espresso internals.
